Board
To provide the Global Learning Program at Wichita State University, headed by the Boeing Distinguished Professor of Global Learning, with multiple perspectives on aspects of the program, so that it continues to meet its goals of producing the global graduate and citizen.
The board will meet quarterly or as required to discuss and make recommendations concerning aspects of the global learning program including annual plans and reports, the budget, the conference, projects and fund-raising.

| James H. Walters, Sr. Vice President of Human Resources, joined Cessna Aircraft Company in June of 2001. Jim is responsible for managing and directing all Human Resources functions including benefits, compensation and staffing, labor and employee relations and the strategy, development and deployment groups. Prior to joining Cessna, Jim served as the Director of Global Human Resources for John Deere Power Systems located in Moline, Illinois. In this role, Jim was responsible for all global Human Resource functions for units located in the United States, Mexico and France. Over his twenty-year career with Deere, Jim also served as Manager of Human Resources for John Deere Ltd., China and Manager for John Deere Ltd., Canada. Having worked in the U.S., Canada and China, Jim brings a true global perspective to Cessna. Jim is a 1981 graduate of Niagara College in Welland, Ontario Canada with a degree in Operations Management. Jim and his wife Josephine of 21 years, have two sons, Jordan and Taylor. In addition to his passion for corvettes, Jim enjoys playing “geezer” hockey in his spare time. |
