The purpose of the FACGL is to provide advice to the Boeing Distinguished Professor of Global Learning on issues of concern to Faculty so as ensure the success of the global learning program at Wichita State University. Each of the six colleges are represented. Each representative also acts as a mentor and facilitator for global learning activities in their college. Important issues include allocation of seed grants, ensuring adequate support for faculty and dealing with any concerns that Deans, Chairs or faculty may have. The FACGL provides feedback on the annual report, published in August and comments on annual plans, including the conference in November each year.
