Under the leadership of the new Dean of Engineering, a Working Group on Engineering 2020 has been meeting to formulate enhancements to the curriculum that will lead to more opportunities for students to participate in leadership, research, service learning, internship, interdisciplinary studies, international exchange activities and global learning. This will help prepare WSU Engineering students to be even more competitive in the job marked in a world where Engineering is an increasingly global profession and to satisfy new criteria set by ABET, the accreditation body for Engineering schools.
